The Knox County Career Center Public Safety Program will be providing the following training courses:

36 hour Volunteer Firefigher: $520

Orientation February 21 with a start date of February 25. Application deadline will be February 1.

This class is for the Volunteer Firefighter. You will learn about the gear, tools and equipment, and the command heiarchy of the fire service. You will have a basic understanding of what goes on before during and after a fire.

Firefighter 1 Transition (104 hours):  Summer 2012    $960

Firefighter 1(140 hours):  Spring 2012    $1170

Firefighter 2 (120 hours):  March 2012    $1500

**Note:  Course cost includes: tuition, text, lab fee, KCCC shirt, application, assessment fee and your first state exam.

All individuals registering for our Public Safety training program(s) will be required to complete an application and assessment for a fee of $50 (included in the program fees noted above).  Once the application and assessment have been completed they are good for an entire calendar year.
