Being an effective supervisor or team leader is one of the major keys to improving overall employee performance. Yet becoming an effective supervisor or team leader is one of the hardest skills to acquire. Many times the employee with the best job skills and work ethic is the one who is promoted to supervisor or team leader. Yet the new role uses completely different types of skill sets and responsibilities for which the supervisor or team leader has not prepared.
KCCC has two leadership skills training programs that will help give supervisors and team leaders the tools they need to deal with their new responsibilities of overseeing people. Both programs are also great for seasoned leaders who want to refresh their skills.
