The LPN IV Therapy course is for the LPN holding an active Ohio license (with a meds designation) who wishes to meet the Ohio board of Nursing requirements for Limited IV Therapy Practice. This course builds upon prior knowledge and skills.

The course is an intensive learning experience consisting of classroom instruction, assigned readings, lab practice, and eight hours of clinical experience at a participating facility.
This activity will provide 42.08 contact hours (which includes 1.5 contact hours of category A) This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Approval valid through October 12, 2012. ONA #L-059.

Note: The certificate of continuing education credits received upon successful completion of this course documents the continuing education hours only. It is not a Ohio Board of Nursing LPN IV Therapy Card.
