. We have many knowledgeable and diverse instructors with a wide range of specialties.
Pre-entrance requirements
Submit completed application by deadline, along with application fees of $50.00 to the office staff.
- Must be 17, and in the final grade of high school to enroll in any EMS program.
- Must be 17 and hold a high school diploma or equivelant to be enrolled in any Fire program.
- Must be able to provide a physicians release to participate in either program (prior to the start of class).
- Pre-entrance assessment including TABE, Washington 13, and Workkeys (paid with application fees).
- For FF I transition or higher have all prerequisites completed and able to provide documentation of such.
- Have not been convicted of, pled guilty to, or had a judicial finding of guilty for any of the following;
-Fraud or material deception in applying for, or obtaining certification -A felony -A misdemeanor involving moral turpitude -A violation of any federal, state, county, or municipal narcotics laws -Any act committed in another state, that if committed in Ohio would constitute a violation set forth in this paragraph -Have not been adjudicated mentally incompetent by a court of law. -At the time of admission, are not under the indictment for a felony or misdemeanor involving morale turpitude. -Do not currently engage in the illegal use of controlled substances, chemical substances, or other habit forming drugs; or engaged in the use of alcohol to an extent that it impairs the ability to perform their duties.
