Program Coordinator: Brenda Nixon, MA, 740.393.2933, ext. 1117 The Child Development Associate (CDA) is a trained and qualified caregiver for young children ages birth through five. This certification program focuses on the acquisition of practical skills needed to prepare individuals to be credentialed as entry-level early childhood education professionals. Individuals work to nurture children's physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth in a child development framework. The unique aspect of our program at KCCC is that we will include the CDA Certification's required 480 hours of on-the-job training in a childcare facility as a structured part of our program under the direction of our own "field advisor." Admission/Acceptance Requirements:
Fees: $6,245 for total program, including books, student supplies, pre-admission fees, Student Services fees, and graduation.
